The best summer vacation in 2011!

I just had the best summer ever! let me tell you about it!


First I will tell you about the lake time.  I caught 5 fish and my cousin caught 3.  But the day before I caught 1 and he caught 2!   The two that my cousin got jumped out and got killed by the heat and turned black literally!  Also I  almost forgot to tell you I stepped in a  ant hole and I got three BIG bug bites!  Ooh, and I got in a tube with my cousin and fell off! It was being pulled by a boat! Plus, (this is funny) it felt like I inhaled a fish!!!!!   Another thing.... I was THE water queen cause I can SURF the waves!


Secondly, I got to see my great grand parents!   I always play "The Money Game" this time I got 25 bucks!  Also, (this is sad) papa is sick :(.... those dots are tears!:(.....................

Thirdly, I got a pedicure with nana. It was kind of sad because of my bug bites... THEY PUT ALCOHOL ON THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What was good was that I got my first manicure. Though, it's already cracking off. I never thought the pink would be so bright. My mom never lets me get bright colors. THANK YOU, NANA!

It was Sooooo fun!

Theatre Camp RULES!

Do you know about this place that I'm going to? It's called theatre camp. I love it! We play some games, learn new songs and practice new dances.

I really like the games. My fav game is "Twizzle". You might like it too. You walk in a circle. There are four things you can do: walk, stop, pivot turn and twizzle. You know how to walk, stop and pivot turn...probably. ;) But, do you know how to twizzle? Probably not! It's a 360 degree turn in the air! The director calls the actions and if you move your feet at all, you get out. The person who stays in the longest, is the winner. (My best score is 2nd place!)

Did you know that there is music class in theatre camp? That's where I learn new songs. I love two of the songs. I like the songs, "Rainbow Connection" and "I'd Do Anything". We had to vote for one song to sing in the performance and I picked "Rainbow Connection" for my Mom.

I really think the dances are cool. I learned the "Peter Pan" dance! I'm the point in the "V" in this dance! Also in dance class, there was this jumping competition. I was one of the people that won it. (It was to the song, "I like to move it, move it")

Theatre Camp in cool! I enjoy the games, the dances and the songs. I'm looking forward to next year.

A Dog's Life (Chapters 5 & 6)

Chapter 5: Go Back to the Beginning

"Can we go back?", Lady barked.

"Where's that?", Amy barked back.

"The neighborhood", Lady barked.

"Ok", Amy replied.

So, Amy, Lady, Scout and Anna went to the neighborhood. A dog jumped on the fence when they got there. "Yo, Yo, Amy! Help me get out, would ya?"

"Yes!", Amy replied and barked to Scout, "Open the gate."

Scout opened the gate.

"Thanks, yo!", Matt barked.

"Let's go!", Anna barked.

"Yeah!", Matt barked. "Come on, let's go back, yo! My owners are going to come out soon!"

"Ok, let's move.", Lady barked.

So, they trotted off.

Chapter 6: The Big Dinner

When they got back to the fort in the forest, a big deer lay in the den.

"Dinner's Here!", Buddy barked in his tiny voice. "Let the leaders come first."

"No, No.", Willy barked back. "It's a big deer and Rascal has not came back yet."

Just then he came in with a ginormous deer.

"Let's eat outside.", Rascal barked.

"Good idea!", Willy replied.

So they are outside.

"I'll get the dessert.", Indie barked.

"ok", Willy barked. He ran to get the dessert.

When she came back, moss was set all around the deer.  Indie put the garbage in the middle of the moss.

"Anna just came back.", Amy barked. "Perfect timing!"

"Let's put chairs and plates in.", Milly suggested.

"Great idea!", Willy barked.

So they put chairs and plates around the food.

"Time to eat! Eating is fun.", Buddy barked after dinner.

Leprechauns, Leprechauns, Come to Me!

Today I invented a leprechaun trap. I painted a bottle green and glued it on a green piece of paper. I cut the bottom of the bottle and made it like a door. Behind the bottle, I created a paper rainbow. Then I made a couple signs, one said "Do NOT Enter!" and the other said, "AC's Gold!". After that, I put a cobblestone path that leads to the chamber. I put gold chunks in the back of the bottle so the leprechauns will go in and try to take the gold chunks. I really liked the craft.

A Dog's Life (Chapters 3 & 4)

Chapter 3: The Pound

They found the dogs! They thought of a plan very quickly. The plan was to bite through the cages so that all the dogs could get loose. So they bit through the cages so that all the dogs could get loose and all of them wanted to be in the pack. Ten dog cages with one dog in each cage and all of them joined the pack. Smudge, Skout, Rascal, Abby, Anna, Milly, Buddy, Luky, Mimi and Lady joined the pack.

Chapter 4: Making a Pack for All

"Willy, we need a camp", Abby barked.

'Okay", Willy barked back. So they went to the forest and dug a nice, big fort.

"Next, we need stuff in it", Amy inspected. So they found moss and made beds. They also used moss to make a sack for their prey. Then they put moss around the top so it could be like a welcoming mat.

Then everyone snuggled in for the night.

A Dog's Life (Chapter 2)

Hello, again. I am going to share Chapter 2 now.

Chapter 2: The City

The dogs crossed the border of the city and found a big box. So, they slept in it. When they woke up, they were hungry. So, they looked for food and spotted the dump. 

"Let's eat!", Lily said.

"Wait!", yelled Willy. He sniffed the garbage and ate some.

"Hey!", Lily barked and jumped on him. "Eat!", Lily barked and jumped on Willy again.

Finally, Lily stopped and Willy got up and ran to the pack. Lily ran to the garbage and ate some and then went to the pack.  "Let's go", Amy barked.

"knock, knock", Willy barked.

"Not now", Amy barked back.

"Who's there?", asked Sami.

"Amy, Me, Lily and you!", Willy barked back. The entire pack laughed. They made so much noise that a little furry dog from the pound heard them and came running towards them.

When he got there, Sami asked, "What's your name?".

"I am 'Indie'", Indie barked.

"Hiya Indie.", Amy barked.

"Hi. The dogs from the pound need your help. Follow me, please, to help the dogs.", barked Indie.

"Okay!", the pack barked and followed Indie. When they got to the pound, they found a hole and slipped through the hole.

The Dog's Life (Chapter 1)

Hello. I  wanted to show you this story I made. It's called The Dog's Life. I am only going to show you Chapter 1 today.

Chapter 1: The Dogs' Escape

One day there was a dog named, Willy, and he wanted to escape. So, he talked to the next door neighbor. Her name was Lily.

"Lily, do you want to escape?"

"Yes", Lily said slowly, "Why?"

"Because I want to escape too", Willy barked.  

"There's dirt on the ground", Lily suggested. "Can you dig?"

"Yeah", Willy said. "Why?"

"Because I dig in the dirt too much and my owner cut my nails", Lily said sadly.

"Okay?" Willy said.

"My friend wants to escape. Can she come?", Lily asked. 

There was a long wait and finally he said, "Yes. So, I'll start digging and you go tell her." So, they did what they planned.

"Amy!", Lily called.

"Yes!", a little voice called back. 

"Amy?", Lily asked. " Do you want to join me and Willy to escape?"

"YES!", Amy barked.

Lily ran back to Willy who had dug his way to Amy's yard. "Come on!", Lily said. "Can you dig more?"

"Yes", Willy moaned. Willy dug a hole in the yard and Amy ran into it and out of it.

Amy shook dirt off of her coat. "HEY!", yelled Lily. "Don't splatter dirt on me."

"Sorry", Amy said. She was half sorry and half laughing. Willy also laughed, but louder. 

Just then a poodle ran to the hole and yelled, "Amy, let me come, please, Amy!"

"Yes, you can come", Amy yelled back. So the poodle ran through.

"Hide!" Lily barked. "We can get through the gate when the owner is  doing the garbage.

"Good idea!", barked Sami, who was the poodle. So they hid while an owner threw out the garbage. They ran out through the gate. Amy's ears flew straight up when she jumped.

"We all got through, right?", Sami panted out.

"yeah", Lily barked. "Come on, the owners can still get us."

"Owners can get us wherever we go.", Amy pointed out loudly.

"Let's go", Sami barked, "Before the owners get us." So the group of dogs left.

When the sun set, they were at the city line.

"I'm sleepy", Amy yelled.
